“They’re back!

We love our new home at Camp Ocean Pines, in Cambria, on the beautiful Central Coast of California and will be returning in November for another action-packed weekend of ‘ukulele instruction and merriment. So please, mark your calendars and stay tuned as we continue to add details.  For now, you can learn more about the various options for meals and accommodations below.

Options for lodging & meals

    • Option 1 (5 days) – Arrive on Wednesday, November 3, after 3 pm, and depart on Sunday, anytime before noon.
      • Lodging: Stay at Camp Ocean Pines in one of the group cabins or in your own tent under the pines. Though the cabins sleep 10, we are limiting the number of people per cabin to 3. There are also 2 private apartments available (suitable for couples) on a first come, first served basis.  You can also bring your own van or camper (30-foot maximum) though there are no hook-ups.
      • Meals: Delicious, homecooked meals are provided for breakfast, lunch, & dinner each day. Meals begin with dinner Wednesday evening and end with a packed lunch Sunday morning. 
      • Workshops & Evening Activities: There will be five workshop and/or practice sessions daily, Thursday – Saturday, and nightly activities each day, beginning on Wednesday.
      • Cost: $989
    • Option 2 (5 days) – Arrive on Wednesday, November 3, after 3 pm, and depart on Sunday, anytime before noon.
      • Lodging: This option is available for those who either live in the area or want to make their own arrangements off-campus. 
      • Meals: Lunch & dinner is provided each day, starting with dinner Wednesday evenings and ending with dinner Saturday night. Breakfast is not provided with Option 2.
      • Workshops & Evening Activities: There will be five workshop and or practice sessions daily, Thursday – Saturday and nightly activities each day, beginning on Wednesday.
      • Cost: $879
    • Companions: Spouses and companions are welcome. . . . .even if they don’t play the ‘ukulele. . . . . We will have at least one workshop a day available to for them and they can participate in all of the evenings musical merriment. 
      • Cost:  $679
